When a famous venue… is not just about fun, but also about being in the community.
Live music, DJ sounds, and laughter are the charm that made “Nang Len Ekamai” a legendary venue in this area for many years.
But as the city grew, when the area around the venue filled with high-rise condos and residences.
The “fun” inside the venue could become “noise pollution” for neighbors… if not properly designed.
This was the major challenge of this renovation.
New renovation under the name Nang lenlen
It's not just about changing the image, but also changing the way we think about sound.
The redesign of Nang lenlen under the design of Khun J – Contour
still maintains the character of a Sofa & Living Room style Modern lounge
that offers the same relaxed, fun, and friendly atmosphere.
But what was added was a serious sound system installation.
So that the venue can play music to its full potential without affecting nearby residents.
Problems faced by music venues in residential areas
The area around the venue is surrounded by high-rise condos, making sound reflection and leakage easy.
Live music and DJs have high sound power; if not controlled, they can disturb the outside.
Inside the venue, without good sound absorption, echoes will occur, making it uncomfortable to listen.
The challenge is not just “keeping sound in” but also “controlling the entire sound system” from the structure to the internal atmosphere.
When wall and ceiling systems become the heart of the solution
This design chose to use Trandar Hitech Wall and Trandar Hitech Ceiling to effectively prevent sound from leaking out of the building.
The walls and ceilings do not merely serve as structures, but are an integral part of the acoustic system that helps to “keep the fun inside.”
At the same time, inside the venue, they also used Trandar Focus F Acoustic ceiling tiles with V Grove tongue-and-groove, Smooth Surface finish.
to help reduce echoes, control sound quality to be clear and comfortable to listen to, whether it's during live music or DJ sets.
Silence that perfectly coexists with fun.
The result of this design is not about reducing the fun of the venue, but about ensuring every sound remains in its place.
Inside the venue, the lively and energetic atmosphere remains.
Outside the building, it's quiet and friendly to the community.
Customers can stay longer because the sound is more comfortable to listen to.
This is another example of design that understands “sound”
as part of the experience, not just a problem to be fixed after the fact.
