YAMAHA is a name everyone in the music world knows. Trust in this brand has been built on uncompromising standards maintained for decades. When YAMAHA opened its music learning center at The Mall Thaphra, they reaffirmed that those standards never change.

However, building music classrooms inside a shopping mall is no small feat. With multiple rooms positioned adjacent to one another—including drum rooms, piano rooms, and individual practice rooms—the acoustic challenges require tailored approaches and specialized materials for each space.

The Trandar team stepped in to design the complete acoustic system, precisely calibrating sound insulation levels to meet the specific requirements of every room.

The acoustics of a music school present multi-layered challenges that must be addressed simultaneously.

• Drum Rooms generate the most intense sound energy, with volume and low-frequency vibrations that easily penetrate standard walls. Unmanaged, drum noise would bleed into all surrounding rooms and disrupt the entire learning atmosphere.
• Group Piano Rooms require an environment where sounds from multiple pianos do not muddy together, while still blocking out noise from adjacent drum rooms.

Featuring a multi-layered structure engineered to block both high and low frequencies generated by drumming, TSIS73 creates an acoustic barrier robust enough to keep the loudest drum sounds contained. At the same time, it shields these rooms from outside disturbances that could interrupt lessons.

🎹 Trandar HitechWall TSIS58 — For Individual Practice Rooms

TSIS58 was chosen for individual classrooms, which require a lower level of sound insulation than drum rooms, but demand greater acoustic control precision.
