When "Partition Walls" Become the Root Cause of Noise

A story of acoustic problem-solving for the Lucky Resource project in the modern office

Privacy isn't just measured by the walls you can see, but by how much sound can pass through them.

And this was the beginning of the problem in the Lucky Resource project.

The Root of the Problem: Walls That Divide Rooms… But Not Sound

Inside the Lucky Resource office, the spatial layout was clearly organized. On one side was the Managing Director's Office, and on the other was the main corporate boardroom. Originally, both areas were separated by standard gypsum partitions, which looked neat, attractive, and quick to install.

However, once actual use begins, unexpected issues gradually arise.

  • Meeting sounds leak into the MD's office

  • Important executive conversations are disrupted

  • At the same time, noise from the MD's office leaks into the meeting room

The walls are still standing… but "privacy" is gone.

When silence becomes a necessity, not just an option

For an organization, the Managing Director's office is not just a workspace, but a space for decision-making, critical meetings, and business confidentiality.

Just like meeting rooms, which require focus and an undisturbed atmosphere.

Lucky Resource therefore began to question:

“How can we seriously solve acoustic issues, not just by changing materials… but by changing the mindset?” And that was the point when Trandar was brought in as part of the solution.

Trandar steps in… focusing on the ‘sound’ issue, not just the walls

Instead of starting by proposing materials, the Trandar team began by analyzing the actual usage of the space.

  • What is this room used for?

  • What is the nature of the noise generated?

  • What level of privacy is required?

  • How does sound travel through the structure?

The clear answer is that existing gypsum walls cannot meet sound insulation requirements.

Therefore, the solution is not minor reinforcement, but "demolition" and "complete system redesign".

Solution: Demolish the existing wall and replace it with Trandar Hitech Wall

The existing gypsum wall was completely removed and replaced with Trandar Hitech Wall, an acoustic wall system engineered for real-world office applications.

Hitech Wall is not just a thicker wall but a system designed with attention tointernal structure

- Material layers that help reduce sound transmission

- Joint sealing to minimize sound leakage

- Structural strength and neat installation finish

All specifically engineered for partitioning between the Managing Director's office and the meeting room.

Results after installation: The return of quietness, right where and when it's needed

After completing the installation of Trandar Hitech Wall, the change was immediate.

  • Meeting noise no longer disturbs the executive room

  • Important conversations inside the MD room have become much more private

  • Meeting rooms operate at full potential

  • Overall working atmosphere is noticeably improved

The old walls that “only divided spaces” have been replaced with new walls that both divide space and truly block sound.

Conclusion of the Lucky Resource Project

This project reflects that office acoustic issues are not minor, and cannot be solved with conventional materials.

When acoustics are properly designed the workspace can fully function as intended.

Lucky Resource chose to solve the problem at its root, and Trandar has transformed a "room partition wall" into a "truly privacy-creating wall".
