📖 Project Story 

The team responsible for this project consists of industry leaders, including DMI Design Management Insight overseeing the design, Christiani & Nielsen (Thai) Public Company Limited as the Main Contractor, and Meinhardt Thailand acting as Consultant — everyone on the team knows that this project's standards are far higher than those of typical factories.

Because this is not just a factory, it is a food production facility where food consumed by people worldwide is made.

🏭 The Challenge of Food Factories — When Hygiene is not an option, but non-negotiable

In the food manufacturing industry, there is a golden rule with no exceptions —

Every material in the factory must be safe for the food production process.

Whether floors, walls, or even ceilings, every piece of material must pass hygiene standards, resist moisture, prevent pathogen accumulation, and be easy to clean. Furthermore, as a global company, there are environmental standards requiring all materials used in the factory to pass international certifications.

And within the office zone inside the factory, the design team had an additional requirement — workspace noise from machinery and factory activities needed to be controlled using baffle ceilings that offer both aesthetics and acoustic performance.

Thus, the challenge had two dimensions to be met simultaneously: aesthetics matching the designer's vision and uncompromising hygiene standards.

✅ Trandar ZIVANA — Sound control walling for the office zone

ZIVANA was chosen for the factory office area to create an optimal acoustic environment for work. Located near production lines with constant machinery noise, ZIVANA helps reduce echo and reverberation within the office zone to a level where employees can communicate and work efficiently without competing with surrounding environmental noise.

✅ Trandar Katos — Meeting the hygiene standards demanded by global food plants

Katos is the core of this project in terms of safety standards, with properties specifically designed for areas requiring high hygiene.

Katos features an easy-to-clean surface, moisture resistance, and is resistant to mold and germ accumulation. It meets the international certifications required by the project owner, allowing it to be used with confidence in zones adjacent to production lines.

✅ Trandar T-bar T15 + AMF Star — The baffle ceiling system specified by designers

This is where the design vision of the DMI team was brought to life.

T-bar T15 was used as the framing for the baffle ceiling, offering both aesthetic appeal and performance. With its precise structure and support for uniform baffle panel alignment, it delivers an overall ceiling appearance that is dimensional, modern, and professional—ideal for a global brand facility.

AMF Star completes the zones requiring both acoustic performance and high hygiene, featuring international standard certifications and sufficient sound absorption for factory environments.
