Art lovers shouldn't miss this! The Ministry of Culture has now opened the National Gallery of Art as Thailand's newest art exhibition landmark, welcoming art enthusiasts from all over the world to admire a wide variety of contemporary artworks by numerous Thai and international artists across various disciplines.

Located on Tiam Ruam Mit Road, Bangkok, the National Gallery of Art by the Ministry of Culture (MOC) is set to become a new destination for art lovers. It has been established as one of the largest art hubs in ASEAN, with the Ministry of Culture developing a 35-rai area of the Thailand Cultural Centre into an international-standard service facility.

Trandar Series F acoustic ceiling

We are certain that event-goers and gallery enthusiasts will love this.

Inside the gallery, there are 3 dedicated zones for exhibiting various artists' works. Each room offers a peaceful atmosphere and a spacious interior, allowing visitors to leisurely stroll and fully appreciate the art in comfort.

However, for a room this exceptionally large to be so remarkably quiet, the gallery has a secret tool behind the scenes that many might not know about—and that is… the sound-absorbing panels on the ceiling.

They chose Trandar's popular acoustic ceiling series, Series F. It can be installed directly with a C-line framing system or overlaid on existing gypsum boards, making it ideal for both new construction and renovation projects with easy installation without removing the existing ceiling.

While many projects prefer overlaying on gypsum boards for convenience and speed, this gallery went a step further by choosing Trandar Focus F acoustic ceiling installed with TISI-certified galvanized steel framing—Heplar Pro C-Line, also from Trandar. The project contractor, Granis Construction Co., Ltd., recognized the critical importance of acoustic systems.

Because the installation with the C-line framing system yields a higher NRC value compared to overlaying on gypsum, stepping into any of the 3 exhibition rooms at the National Gallery reveals exceptionally quiet interiors. It delivers a blissful, noise-free experience even when crowded with many visitors at the same time.

Trandar Series F is a concealed-grid sound-absorbing ceiling system featuring an edge-to-edge tongue-and-groove installation method with a smooth, beautiful surface and a high acoustic rating of up to 0.75.

It boasts high hygienic performance and a light reflectance of up to 99%, ensuring uniform illumination throughout the room from any angle, allowing you to fully enjoy the artworks with complete satisfaction.

Trandar Series F acoustic ceilings are made from Akutex fibers, offering high hygiene standards, a modern design, and a smooth, elegant surface. With high hygienic properties, there is no need to worry about falling dust. It is certified by the Swedish Asthma and Allergy Association as hypoallergenic, meeting green building standards for health and environmental friendliness. Featuring a tongue-and-groove installation system, it leaves only a 4 mm V-Groove upon completion, ensuring easy and time-saving installation.
