Srisawat Wittayakarn School in Nan Province was originally named "Suriyanukroh School", established on May 20, 1907, at Wat Chang Kham Worawihan under the royal patronage of Phra Suriyaphong Pharitdet, the Lord of Nan. When first founded, it offered instruction from Prathom 1 to Prathom 3. Later, between 1914 and 1915, it expanded to offer secondary education up to Matthayom 3-4.

Later in 1930, the school was relocated to the bank of the Nan River in Ban Don area, Nai Wiang Subdistrict, Mueang Nan District, Nan Province (currently the location of Sri Nan Women's School) on an 11-rai plot of land. It commenced operations on May 1, 1932, coinciding with the tenure of Phraya Krungsriswasdikan as the provincial administrative commissioner of Nan, prompting the school to be renamed in honor of his noble title as "Srisawat Wittayakarn School" to this day.

Today, Srisawat Wittayakarn School in Nan Province has added several new classroom buildings to enhance the quality of education, ensuring students enjoy coming to school and are provided with opportunities to develop their learning as creatively as possible.

As a renowned school in Nan province, Srisawat Wittayakarn School has constructed a new multipurpose building featuring various rooms for teaching, learning, and various activities. dBphon insulation and framed with Trandar Heplar to reduce echoes and reverberation, thereby enhancing teaching and learning efficiency for both instructors and students.

Since instructors need to use their voice to explain how to play musical instruments, back-and-forth sound reflections from both the instruments and the instructor's voice would cause confusion and unintelligible speech.
