KX Knowledge Xchange Building

The KX building is a knowledge exchange area, aiming to apply university knowledge and innovation in the industrial sector, both medium and small enterprises (SMEs), through the knowledge exchange mechanism as implied by the building's name, Knowledge Exchange. The interior of the building is designed using the "Interlocking in Space" concept, which is the connection of each area to make the rooms wider, maximizing the use of limited space.

The KX building has a total of 20 floors, consisting of meeting rooms, seminar rooms, event rooms, and Co-Working Spaces. All areas are designed for full functionality and learning.

Now, we will take everyone to see the various rooms inside the KX building that use acoustic ceiling panels to effectively reduce reverberation and echo. Let's find out which rooms and floors they are on!

Seminar Room (Floor 10)

KX Knowledge Xchange – Room X01AB Floor 10

This floor consists of 6 seminar rooms, most of which are large, accommodating approximately 15-200 people each, depending on the table arrangement. The interior decoration is simple yet stylish and modern. KX Knowledge Xchange chose sound-absorbing materialsTrandar Gedina E tegular edge ceiling tiles for the ceiling decoration in the seminar rooms, to absorb reverberation and echo and prevent them from occurring during seminars.

Additionally, Trandar Gedina E ceiling tiles have a smooth and pleasing surface, making it easy to decorate and design rooms. This model has a high acoustic value of up to 0.85, making its NRC value very high compared to general ceiling types.

Seminar Room (Floor 11)

KX Knowledge Xchange – Room X11.5 Floor 11

This floor consists of 8 seminar rooms, using Trandar mineral fiber acoustic ceiling tiles. It features Trandar Gedina E tegular edge premium acoustic ceiling tiles with high sound absorption, easy to install with T-bar grids.

KX Knowledge Xchange – Room X11.3 Floor 11

The interior design and decoration of the rooms are innovative and unique. All rooms are designed with Trandar Gedina E acoustic ceiling panels

arranged discontinuously, resembling a Random Design Ceiling. This is actually an intentional design to create a unique seminar room, as these activities involve microphone usage and loud conversations among users.

KX Knowledge Xchange – Room X11.7 Floor 11

The problem encountered when reverberation and echo occur is that during various activities, the sound received by users becomes unclear. The speaker's voice becomes difficult to hear and understand, making activities less effective than they should be.

Therefore, it is necessary to have materials with high sound absorption to help reduce reverberation and echo within the room, in order to make meetings more effective.
