SKV13 – Private Lounge Sukhumvit 13

When it comes to a reception room or private lounge, what the owner wants is not just beauty, but an “atmosphere” that makes every gathering more special than usual.

Light, sound, and the feel of the space must work together. This is the starting point for the project SKV13 – Private Lounge in Sukhumvit 13 area

The Starting Point of the Challenge: A Party Room where "Sound must be Good" and "Atmosphere must be Right" This area was designed as a guest lounge for the owner, for socializing and parties, with two main requirements that needed to be met simultaneously.

An outstanding and experience-creating atmosphere
Sound quality that is not echoing and does not disturb usage

Because in a room like this, without good sound control, conversations and music will echo back and forth, making the atmosphere “uncomfortable” and “unpleasant to listen to.”

The Challenge: When the "Ceiling" has to do more than ever before What makes this project special is that the ceiling doesn't just absorb sound, but also has to be a “key design element,” with important requirements:

Must be able to be painted to control the tone of the area
Must install many “lights” to create an effect like a “sky full of stars”
And these lights are quite heavy, which general acoustic ceilings cannot easily support.

This is a challenge that requires both acoustic understanding, structural systems, and design work

Solution: Seamless that supports both "Light" and "Sound" Trandar presented Seamless Acoustics, Altarfire model (Smooth surface), so that the ceiling can fulfill all functions. Highlights of the system in this project:
