Renovate Resident (Home theater)

Beautiful Home, Pool in front, Dream Home Theater — but where will the sound go?

Renovate Resident x HitechWall

"Watching movies at full volume but don't want to disturb those sleeping in the next room." "The pool in front of the house is beautiful, but the sound of cars, wind, and people outside constantly penetrate the room." "How can you enjoy a full immersion home theater without feeling guilty towards others in the house?"

This was the real challenge for a house in Panya Ramindra Village, and this is the story of a design that allows everyone in the house to coexist perfectly.

Project : Renovate Resident (Home Theater)

Location : Panya Ramindra Village

Designer : STUDIO3C

Solution : HitechWall TSIS71

Problematic Zone : Home Theater partition wall – Bedroom, and wall facing the pool

Challenge : Two-way soundproofing, both out and in

📖 Project Story — When a Dream Home Needs More Than Just Renovation

This house in Panya Ramindra Village came with an extremely challenging layout.

The home theater is located at the front of the house, facing a beautiful private swimming pool, while the bedroom is right behind it. It sounds like a perfect dream — but in reality, it's the most difficult equation in acoustic design.

Sound from the home theater would penetrate the wall and disturb the bedroom, and at the same time, external noise, whether it be water sounds, wind, or sounds from common areas, would seep in and ruin the perfect movie-watching experience.

The design team from STUDIO3C took on this challenge and began searching for the right solution.

🎯 The Challenge to Solve in Two Directions Simultaneously

What made this project more complex than typical soundproofing was that the wall needed not just to "block sound out" or "block sound in" — but to do both simultaneously.

From inside to outside — explosive sounds, bass, Surround Sound from the home theater must not leak out and disturb the bedroom and other areas of the house.

From outside to inside — sounds from the pool, wind, and outdoor activities must not penetrate and destroy the meticulously created movie-watching atmosphere.

A single wall had to be responsible for both directions, simultaneously.

🛠 The Solution Chosen by STUDIO3C — HitechWall TSIS71

After thoroughly analyzing the house structure and acoustic challenges, the STUDIO3C team chose HitechWall TSIS71 as the main material for creating this soundproofing wall.

✅ HitechWall TSIS71 — A soundproofing wall designed for true privacy.

TSIS71 is a high-performance soundproofing wall system designed to create a strong acoustic barrier between two zones. With its multi-layered structure, it works to reflect, absorb, and stop the transmission of sound waves before they pass to the other side.

What makes TSIS71 particularly suitable for this project is its effectiveness in handling low-frequency sounds such as bass and subwoofers, which are the main culprits that easily penetrate ordinary walls and are the formidable enemies of adjacent bedrooms.

Furthermore, the appropriate thickness and weight of TSIS71 mean that installation in a renovating house does not affect the original structure and does not take up too much interior space.

✨ The Result — Two Worlds in One House, Coexisting Perfectly

Once HitechWall TSIS71 was installed, this house was completely transformed.

In the home theater, you can turn up the volume to full level, letting the soundtrack flow from the Surround System without worrying about disturbing anyone in the bedroom. At the same time, sounds from the pool, wind, or external commotion completely vanished from the movie-watching experience.

A single house became two worlds that do not disturb each other. The bedroom remained quiet, even while the home theater was playing action scenes with explosions on the opposite side.

"A good home is not just a beautiful home, but a home where everyone can live as they wish without diminishing each other's happiness." — STUDIO3C

💡 Lessons from this Project — House Layout Defines the Challenge, the Right Material is the Solution

Every house has a different layout, and sound problems do not have a one-size-fits-all solution. This project teaches that analyzing sound direction and selecting materials that truly match the actual environment is the heart of solving acoustic problems in residential areas.

STUDIO3C and HitechWall TSIS71 prove that a cinema-level home theater and a quiet bedroom can coexist in the same house — if you choose the right wall.
