When appropriate silence is as important as the aesthetics of the workspace

The story of PlanArchitect's meeting room transformation began.

Meeting rooms are often seen as the heart of collaboration, but for many organizations, this space unknowingly becomes an obstacle.

At PlanArchitect, the meeting room was designed with three hard-surface walls and glass as a main component. Although modern, beautiful, and airy, this type of structure created a common problem in modern workspaces: severe reverberation.

Whenever there was a meeting, speech echoed repeatedly, making it unclear, hindering negotiations, and causing communication to be inefficient. Especially in the working process of architects and designers, who constantly need to discuss, exchange ideas, and brainstorm, the meeting room is not just a place to talk, but a “creative space” where sound quality directly impacts the quality of ideas.

When the problem became clear, PlanArchitect chose not to ignore it. They turned to acoustic experts like Trandar Acoustics to collaboratively design a solution that met both functional and aesthetic needs.

The solution to this challenge was Trandar VOKE — acoustic panels specifically designed to control reverberation. It not only helped reduce echo in the meeting room for clearer conversations but also featured a contemporary design that seamlessly blended with the image of an architect's office.

The highlight of Trandar VOKE is not just its acoustic properties, but also its development to be strong, durable, and long-lasting. The material can withstand impact well, reducing worries about damage from real-world office use.

Another important innovation is Trandar Goo, a specialized adhesive developed specifically for acoustic installations. It's easy to install, odorless, allows immediate use of the space after installation, and most importantly, is free from harmful chemicals, making it safe for employees and users in the long term.

After the installation of Trandar VOKE, PlanArchitect's meeting room changed significantly. Echoes were reduced, communication became smoother, work processes became more efficient, and this space truly returned to being a center for creativity.

This project is therefore a good example of designing a workspace that is not just beautiful, but "truly functional," in terms of function, sound, and user experience. Because ultimately, a good meeting room is not just a place to talk, but a space that allows ideas to grow clearly.
