📖 Project Story — When a World-Class Company Designs an Office Perfect in Every Dimension

MQDC (Magnolia Quality Development Corporation) is one of the most renowned premium real estate developers in Thailand. A company that has consistently created luxury projects knows better than anyone that every detail in a space is a form of communication without words.

When it came time to design its own office, MQDC refused to compromise on any detail, including the quality of sound in the workspace.

But the challenge was not simple — the ceiling was designed to expose the building's systems, including pipes, wires, and structures, a popular style in modern offices. At the same time, the space required effective echo control without compromising the meticulously planned overall design.

Exposed ceilings revealing building systems are undoubtedly beautiful and unique, but they come with an unseen cost —

When the ceiling lacks sound-absorbing materials, sound waves from conversations, meetings, phone calls, and office equipment will bounce off the ceiling and reflect repeatedly, causing a build-up of echo and reverberation. This forces employees to expend more energy to understand conversations, reduces concentration, and increases overall fatigue without them even realizing it.
