📖 Project Story — When a Premium Hall Demands Acoustic Quality Worthy of Every Event Hosted There

Sila Hall at Rin at Raintree is a premium event venue chosen for banquets and weddings that demand exceptional quality and perfection in every detail.

However, one element in the original space quietly undermined that perfection — echoes and reverberation within the hall, which made speech clarity, speeches, and musical performances sound muddy and heavier than they should have been.

At a wedding where every word carries meaning, and at a banquet where every conversation should flow smoothly, echo is not a minor issue—it quietly erodes the experience of everyone present.

🔊 Why Event Venues Require Special Acoustic Attention

Large halls with high ceilings and hard surfaces all around are environments where echo and reverberation occur most easily. Sound waves coming from microphones, bands, or guests chatting bounce repeatedly off walls and ceilings before reaching the listeners' ears, causing sound overlap and poor clarity.

As a result, everyone at the event has to speak louder, every sound system has to be turned up, and an atmosphere that should be warm and relaxing turns into a tiring and uncomfortable chaos.

The challenge at Sila Hall was clear regarding installation. The space already featured decorative beams as a design element. A good solution had to enhance sound quality without disrupting the meticulously crafted aesthetics.

The answer was to install acoustic ceilings only within the ceiling recesses between the decorative beams across the entire area. This approach keeps the original design structure clearly visible while the surfaces inside the ceiling recesses effectively absorb sound.

Once Trandar Series F was fully installed in the ceiling recesses between decorative beams across the entire area, Sila Hall transformed in the most crucial dimension.

The echo that used to accumulate in the large space has been significantly reduced. Every spoken word through the microphone is clearer, music has more depth and richness, conversations among guests flow smoothly without having to shout over reverberation, and the overall atmosphere of the hall feels warmer and more comfortable for every event held there.
