8 meters… but the sound reaches the guest's bed

This is the challenge of "sound control" that requires true precision.

Octo Fetch project in the Thonglor area is a pub located just across the street from a hotel at a distance of about 8 meters, and on the other side is a restaurant that requires quietness and a relaxing atmosphere. The question is…how to make sure “indoor fun” does not become “outdoor noise”.

The Problem: Sound doesn't stay just in the room

Sound from pubs, especially low frequencies like bass, can penetrate structures and travel much further than expected. Even with typical walls or ceilings,if “the system is not truly designed for soundproofing,” sound can still leak out.

In this case,

a distance of only 8 meters = sound has a high chance of directly disturbing the hotel, which immediately affects the guests' experience.

Solution: A soundproofing system that “designs the whole structure”, not just applying materials

Trandar solved the problem with “System Thinking” design by using both ceilings and walls working together.
