Beautiful House, Front-Yard Swimming Pool, Dream Home Theater — But Where Does the Sound Go?
Renovate Resident x HitechWall
"Watching movies at maximum volume, but don't want to disturb anyone sleeping in the next room." "The front-yard pool is gorgeous, but traffic noise, wind, and outside chatter constantly bleed into the room." "How can you fully enjoy a Full Immersion home theater without feeling guilty toward other family members?"
This was the real-world challenge for a home in Panya Ramintra Village, and this is the story of a design that allows everyone in the household to live together in perfect harmony.

📖 Project Story — When a Dream Home Requires More Than Just a Renovation
This home in Panya Ramintra Village came with a uniquely challenging layout.
The home theater is situated at the front of the house, facing a beautiful private swimming pool, while the bedroom sits directly adjacent behind it. It sounds like a picture-perfect dream — but in reality, it presented the toughest acoustic design equation.
Sound from the home theater would bleed through the wall to disturb the bedroom, while at the same time, external noises—whether water splashes, wind, or sounds from common areas—would infiltrate and ruin the cinematic experience.
The design team from STUDIO3C took on this challenge and set out to find the right solution.
🎯 The Two-Way Challenge to Solve Simultaneously
What made this project more complex than standard soundproofing is that the required wall didn't just need to "block outgoing noise" or "block incoming noise" — it had to do both at the same time.
From Inside to Outside — Explosions, bass, and surround sound from the home theater must not leak out to disturb the bedroom and other areas of the house.
From Outside to Inside — Sounds from the pool, wind, and outdoor activities must not penetrate and ruin the carefully crafted movie-watching atmosphere.
A single wall had to handle both directions simultaneously.

🛠 The Solution Chosen by STUDIO3C — HitechWall TSIS71
After thoroughly analyzing the home's structure and acoustic requirements, the STUDIO3C team selected HitechWall TSIS71 as the primary material for this acoustic wall installation.
✅ HitechWall TSIS71 — Soundproofing wall designed for ultimate privacy
TSIS71 is a high-performance acoustic wall system engineered to create a robust acoustic barrier between two zones. Utilizing a multi-layered structure that works together to reflect, absorb, and stop the travel of sound waves before they pass through to the other side.
What makes TSIS71 particularly suitable for this project is its effectiveness in handling low frequencies, such as bass and subwoofers, which are the main culprits that easily penetrate standard walls and serve as the archenemy of adjacent bedrooms.
Additionally, the optimal thickness and weight of TSIS71 ensure that installation in a home undergoing renovation does not impact the original structure or consume too much interior space.
✨ The Result — Two Worlds in One Home, Coexisting in Perfect Harmony
With the installation of HitechWall TSIS71 complete, this home has been completely transformed.
In the home theater, you can turn the volume all the way up, letting the soundtrack pour from the Surround System without worrying about disturbing anyone in the bedroom. At the same time, the sounds of the swimming pool, wind, or outside commotion are completely eliminated from your movie-watching experience.
A single home becomes two independent worlds. The bedroom remains peaceful, even while the home theater is playing high-action scenes right on the other side.
"A good home isn't just a beautiful one, but a home where everyone can live the way they want without compromising each other's happiness." — STUDIO3C

💡 Takeaways from This Project — Home Layout Sets the Challenge, the Right Materials Are the Answer
Every home has a unique layout, and sound issues have no one-size-fits-all formula. This project shows that analyzing sound direction and selecting materials that match the actual environment is the key to solving residential acoustic issues.
STUDIO3C and HitechWall TSIS71 prove that a cinema-grade home theater and a quiet bedroom can coexist in the same house — if you choose the right wall system.
