Many MEP services = Cannot do acoustics? Not always true
By choosing the right materials and installation method, you can “solve acoustic issues” without wasting time and budget on tearing everything down and redoing it.

Real Case Study from Srinakharinwirot University, Innovation Building
In modern learning spaces, “sound” is another key element that directly affects learning quality.
But the question is… if the site has constraints with “MEP systems” taking up the whole area, can we still design an acoustic system that delivers real results?
🔍 The Challenge: When Design Meets Site Reality
The SWU Innovation Building project was designed to support modern learning, but upon arriving at the actual site, it was found that:
👉 There are numerous overhead MEP systems on the ceiling, including pipes, air conditioners, and complex structures, making it “impossible to install a fully sealed ceiling system” as originally designed.
At the same time…
Echo and reverberation issues in the classrooms became more pronounced, affecting actual usage.

💡 The Solution: Adapting the Design to the Site (Instead of Forcing It)
Instead of sticking to the original plan, the team chose to “adapt the concept” to suit the constraintsby utilizing 2 main solutions from Trandar Acoustics.
🎧 Classrooms: Using Trandar Series E as Baffles Instead of full ceiling coverage, the design team chose to suspend Series E as “Baffles”.
👉 Key Benefits:
📌 Result: Quieter classrooms, clearer sound, without altering the existing systems.

🎯 Another Area: Installing Trandar SeriesF Ceilings
In areas where ceilings could be installed, SeriesF was chosen for direct sound control.

👉 This is a design that "truly understands the job site", going beyond just blueprints.
