If you already have acoustics, but still experience echoes, how should you solve the problem?

This was the challenge for the Bangkok Pattana International School project, which wanted to improve indoor sound quality to enhance speech clarity and acoustic comfort within the space.

The Root of the Problem: When Existing Acoustics Are "Not Enough"

Inside this international school, acoustic materials had already been partially installed. However, during daily use—whether for activities, classes, or student gatherings—

the issues encountered were:

• There was still considerable reverberation within the space
  

• Speech or activity sounds disperse and reflect within the room
  

• The acoustic atmosphere within the space is not yet comfortable for use
  
  

Even though acoustic materials are already present, improper placement or quantity may result in insufficient sound control performance.

Solution: Add sound-absorbing panels in the correct locations

To resolve the echo issue in the space, the Trandar team first analyzed the acoustic conditions and performed an Acoustic Simulation to determine the optimal quantity of acoustic materials needed for the best results.

The analysis revealed that:
Simply adding sound-absorbing materials to about 30% of the total area can effectively reduce echoes.
