Features of Mineral Fiber AMF Ceiling
Mineral Fiber AMF Ceiling is a high-quality acoustic ceiling developed to meet demands in terms of sound absorption efficiency, fire safety, and hygiene. It is ideal for office buildings, schools, hospitals, and areas requiring professional sound control.
Acoustic Aspects (Acoustic Performance)
The ceiling panels have a sound absorption coefficient (NRC) ranging from 0.55 to 0.90 depending on the model, helping to reduce reverberation in the room and create an appropriate environment for communication, whether in meeting rooms, classrooms, or open-plan offices.
Fire Safety Aspects (Fire Resistance)
This ceiling model has been tested according to EN 13501-1 standard, achieving A2-s1, d0 classification, which indicates non-combustibility and low smoke emission. Moreover, with an appropriate installation system, it can provide fire resistance for up to 60 minutes, increasing safety in high-rise buildings or public areas.
Humidity Resistance Aspects (Humidity Resistance)
AMF ceiling panels are designed to withstand humidity levels from RH 95% to 100% without sagging or deforming. This makes them suitable for use in hot and humid climates like Thailand, as well as areas with unstable air conditioning systems.
Sound Attenuation Aspects (Sound Attenuation)
In addition to excellent sound absorption within the room, the ceiling panels also help prevent noise disturbances from adjacent rooms, with a Sound Attenuation Class (CAC) value between 30 – 40 dB, enhancing privacy for each functional area.
Environmental Aspects (Eco-friendly)
Made partly from recycled materials, AMF ceilings are certified according to environmental standards such as LEED and ISO 14001, making them suitable for buildings aiming to achieve Green Building standards.
Installation Aspects
Standard ceiling sizes available are 600x600 mm and 600x1200 mm. Used with the T-Bar Trandar grid system, they areeasy, fast to install, and convenient to maintain.
