And being a Pub and Restaurant, the issue of noise is inevitable. There will be music playing to create a fun and lively atmosphere, along with conversations from many night owls. Excessive noise is the main disturbance issue for this entertainment venue. Therefore, it is necessary to use sound insulation boards, soundproofing materials, to prevent sound from penetrating and disturbing patrons.

Trandar Zoundboard Sound Insulation Board

For this project, Trandar Zoundboard sound insulation boards from Trandar were used for both soundproof ceiling and soundproof wall installations. Trandar Zoundboard has excellent sound insulation properties due to its Damping Compound technology embedded within the board, allowing for effective soundproofing. It is durable, as it does not harbor insects or termites, and is also safe for residents and the environment.

When installation began by the project's expert contractors, they started with installingsoundproof ceilings across the entire area and decided to use galvanized steel framing Trandar Heplar, which has met TIS standards. Sub-frames were inserted every 60×60 cm, making the frame structure twice as strong and durable!

Additionally, screws were driven into the frame andsound insulation board Trandar Zoundboard 10mm. for installing the secure soundproof ceiling system, with 7-8 screws used per installation, as the contractors desired durability, strength, and wanted to be truly confident that no installation issues would arise later.

For the walls, the Trandar Zoundboard TSIS66 d108 soundproof wall system was used, with Trandar Heplar Pro C62 and Trandar Heplar Pro U64 steel frames, and 2-inch thick dBphon S50 insulation to further absorb and block sound, and attachedsound insulation board Trandar Zoundboard 15 mm. to prevent sound from disturbing the outside. Since the back of the hotel is a residential area, it is highly necessary to usesound insulation boards or soundproofing materials in the installation to control loud sounds from penetrating.

Additionally, the Trandar Zoundboard TSIS71 d200 soundproof wall system was used on both sides of the walls. As the original walls were brick structures, the TSIS71 d200 system could be used. This system involves constructing a Trandar Heplar Pro C74 and Trandar Heplar Pro U76 frame.

As for insulation, the hotel chose dBphon S75 insulation, 3 inches thick, developed from Inorganic Wool fibers, which has a high Airflow Resistant value compared to other fiber types. Trandar Zoundboard 15 mm. panels were attached to prevent noise from disturbing the outside and the hotel's internal rooms.
