Today, we will take everyone to see another highlight project by Trandar: the renovation of the elementary school cafeteria at ISB International School (International School Bangkok), one of the leading international schools in the country. Previously, ISB had already chosen Trandar ZIVANA sound-absorbing ceilings for their Main Cafeteria. After that, the school planned to renovate the elementary school cafeteria (ES Cafeteria) next.

The interior was designed in a modern style, transforming the cafeteria so it no longer looks like a typical cafeteria. It features a fun, playful use of curved lines on the ceiling, designed by IA103. The entire space was redecorated, combining two Trandar acoustic products seamlessly.

The designer chose to use Trandar Focus F sound-absorbing ceiling panels installed over gypsum, along with decorative strip lights designed for indirect lighting. The soft curves create a flowing feel, making the atmosphere within the ES Cafeteria beautiful and exciting, distinctive, and helping to create a unique and attractive identity for the space, while also ensuring safety for the students.

Looking up in this area, you'll see circular lines on the ceiling. The designer incorporated Trandar Heradesign wood wool panels installed as a Baffle Ceiling, which helps to add more dimension to the ceiling design. This panel is also a sound-absorbing acoustic panel, but it differs in that it's a wood wool acoustic panel mixed with magnesite and water, giving it a natural look. It's suitable for school environments, especially a cafeteria like this, where high safety for children is paramount.

Trandar Focus F and Trandar ZIVANA truly meet the functional needs of various spaces. They are suitable for interior decoration in convention centers, exhibition halls, shopping malls, restaurants, studios, offices, fitness centers, and even residential buildings.

Characteristics

Trandar Focus F acoustic ceiling is made from Akutex fibers, offering high hygiene. It has a modern design with a smooth and beautiful surface. Its high hygiene value means there's no need to worry about dust falling down, and it is certified by the Swedish Asthma and Allergy Association as free from allergy-causing substances, meeting green building standards for health and environmental friendliness. It features a tongue-and-groove installation, resulting in only a 4 mm V-groove visible upon completion. Easy to install, saving installation time.

• Made from Akutex fibers using 3RD Technology
• Has a sound absorption coefficient (NRC) of not less than 0.75, which is twice as high as general ceilings.
• The surface of the ceiling panel is fine, without pores, providing a soft and comfortable feel to the eyes of users.
• Highly hygienic, clean, sterile, dust-free, and does not cause allergies or respiratory problems harmful to health.
• Highly moisture-resistant, will not warp or sag.

• Is a concealed system with a 4 mm V-groove joint between panels.

Trandar ZIVANA

Characteristics

ZIVANA acoustic panels from natural wood fibers are strong, sound-absorbing, fire-resistant, and customizable. Wood Wool Acoustic Panels are made from high-quality wood fibers mixed with white Portland cement, compacted and cured to be strong, durable, and have a natural texture. They provide both beauty and excellent acoustic properties, suitable for buildings that require both tranquility and unique designs.

• Thermal conductivity: λ = 0.066 W/mK
• Provides effective thermal insulation along with sound absorption.
• Weight: between 7.0 to 10.5 kilograms per square meter, depending on the thickness and type of panel.
• Fire Safety Class: B-s1, d0 (General standard)
• A2-s1, d0 (for A2 type panels – even safer in public buildings)
