How to design the corridor area using sound-absorbing materials to prevent “echo”?

Many of you are probably already familiar with the term 'sound-absorbing material,' which helps reduce echoes and reverberation. It is commonly used inside buildings, and almost all places today require 'sound-absorbing material' in every square meter. So, if it's a corridor in a hall, how do we know that installing sound-absorbing material will prevent echoes?

While sound is important, it must also go hand in hand with beautiful design. Here, designers from S A I D Company Limited were brought in to design the hall area in the building's corridor. They chose Trandar's sound-absorbing ceiling, Trandar Focus F, a popular hygienic ceiling, to be installed on all ceilings from the G floor to the 1st and 2nd floors. It was installed over the gypsum board, with wooden battens then installed on top of the Trandar Focus F as the backing. This was done to solve the problem of echoes and reverberation within the hall, and also for aesthetic appeal.
