Why are "dining rooms" prone to echoing more than you might think?

          Have you ever noticed that in large dining rooms, even without loud noises,the atmosphere often feels muffled and conversations difficult? The main cause is rarely just the number of people, but rather the sound reflections within the space. When a dining room has hard surfaces on the floors, walls, or ceilings, voices, clattering cutlery, and other activities bounce back and forth between these surfaces.

As reflected sound accumulates, it creates reverberation, making the dining atmosphere chaoticand conversation less comfortable than it should be.

When a cafeteria space requires acoustic comfort

The cafeteria area in this building is designed to accommodate a large number of users at any given time. When in simultaneous use, conversations, clattering tableware, and activity noisescan easily bounce around within the room. To create a more comfortable environment, Trandar SeriesF acoustic ceilings were chosen.
