Executive Meeting Area Where Silence is the Ultimate Design Condition

In some areas of an organization
“Silence” is not just about comfort
But it is about privacy, data security, and high-level decision-making.

BTSG Auditorium Meeting Room - Office BTS Phahon Yothin
is designed to be a private meeting room for executives.

A space where every conversation must be preserved and all communication must be as clear as possible, with no sound leaking out.

However, with the structure of the space, surrounded by tall, large glass walls, although the design appears airy, beautiful, and powerful.

But it is all Hard Surface walls, which does not address the issue of sound within the space, causing echoes and reverberation.

And that is not suitable for executive meetings that require both “confidentiality,” “privacy,” and “sound clarity.”

The key challenge of this project is more than just ‘soundproofing’.

1) How to effectively soundproof the room

2) The room must not have echoes, not create an uncomfortable atmosphere, and conversations must be clear.

3) Still need to maintain the design envisioned by the designer, which is:

— Two layers of overlapping gable roofs

— Wood grain material surface to give a warm and premium feel

From all these challenges, with the material expertise of Trandar

we have collaborated to design a sound solution that is feasible in terms of functionality and maintains the original architectural design.

AFIBUS — Innovative sound-absorbing metal ceiling designed for special areas

Trandar proposes the use of AFIBUS
a sound-absorbing metal ceiling with a Micro Perforated Plate (MPP)
which has micro sound-absorbing holes, more than 300,000 holes per square meter.

AFIBUS provides an NRC value of up to 0.7
helps control echoes, making conversations clearer.
The atmosphere inside the room is quiet, peaceful, and has sound quality suitable for executive meetings.

For this project,

Trandar chose the Amber Wood pattern, a special color tone designed specifically

to maintain a warm, premium image and align with the original design of the space.

When material limitations become the starting point for new design

Due to structural limitations and installation conditions, AFIBUS cannot be installed 100% in the original material direction.
The Trandar team therefore worked with the designer to adjust "the orientation of the material axis" to suit the actual site.

The result is:

✔ Actual installation possible
✔ Maintains design aesthetics
✔ Maintains acoustic performance as intended

Wall and insulation system for complete silence

In addition to the AFIBUS ceiling, this project also incorporates the Trandar Hitech Wall

system along with Alpha Phone insulation, a non-flammable foil-clad fiberglass insulation.

This helps increase sound insulation efficiency between areas and enhances long-term safety.
